Aural Rehabilitation

Aural rehabilitation is helping an individual with hearing impairment overcome the difficulties they face due to Hearing Loss. Long standing hearing loss may lead to difficulty in having conversations and cognitive decline.After they have understood the Hearing Loss and received an appropriate hearing solution, we work on their verbal communication and ability to listen. We train individuals in listening , communication strategies , modifying the environment , hearing protection etc. This is aimed at improving their ability to participate and function in society.
